Thomas Broom
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Pastor Thomas Broom dedicated his life to sharing the hope of the Gospel, especially with the people of York County. From September 2021 to December 2022, he faithfully served in the Pastoral Residency at Park Baptist Church, pouring his heart into helping others grasp the beauty of God’s truth. His love for ministry didn’t stop there. On December 18, 2022, he stepped into his calling as the pastor of Grace Chapel Baptist, where he continued to shepherd and serve with unwavering faithfulness.
On November 9, 2024, the Lord called Thomas home, but his impact lives on. He was a pastor who saw the unique struggles of small-town churches and gave his life to strengthening them. His kindness, wisdom, and deep love for people left a lasting imprint on everyone he met.
To honor his legacy, the Thomas Broom Scholarship was established with the love and guidance of Erica, Lee, and Ann Broom. This scholarship ensures that Thomas’ passion for equipping and encouraging future pastors continues for generations to come.
